Decade Defector is the stage name of American Synthwave producer Nate VanBuskirk, a resident of Dayton, Ohio. Decade Defector began producing vocal Synthwave with heavy influences from 80s New Wave in 2015 after Nate saw the iconic movie “Drive.” However, he has been making music as far back as 7th grade, starting on guitar followed by piano.
Stephen Simms is a British vocalist from Gloucestershire. He has been singing professionally for over 10 years and has featured in Decade Defector works since 2019.
