Lord Nikon is the moniker of American musician Kevin Silva from San Francisco, CA. He initially started making in around 2001, started writing punk, metal, and hardcore as a guitarist in high school and switched over to bass in 2004. He played bass professionally until 2008, where he took a hiatus from music to pursue another career path. About a decade later, he discovered Daniel Deluxe and Carpenter Brut, and after attending a Timecop1983 gig at Turbo Drive in San Francisco, he decided to return to writing music.
His music has been described as a mix between darksynth, cyberpunk, and midtempo. Ethereal, haunting, and atmospheric in nature, he and his loved ones at home call it “haunted strip club music.” A name that portrays the drippy, dark and bouncy feel that he constantly aims for.
