The main band members are:
Karan Katiyar on guitars and flute, Jayant Bhadula on vocals and Raoul Kerr on rap vocals. The band also has designated tour members, Sarthak Pahwa on the dhol, Roshan Roy on bass and Vishesh Singh on drums.
The band initially gained popularity through their metal covers of popular Bollywood songs on YouTube. Bloodywood’s original compositions often address social issues, blending powerful metal riffs with traditional instruments like the dhol and flute. Their second album “Rakshak,” released in 2022, showcased their distinctive sound and socially conscious lyrics, earning them a dedicated global fanbase and cementing their position as pioneers in the Indian metal scene.
