Alpha Chrome Yayo is the pseudonym of Peter, a fun loving multi-instrumentalist and producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland (UK). He has been making music since his parents bought him an electric guitar at the tender age of 11. Since that time, he has played in a few bands and even formally studied music for a brief time.
He began performing as Alpha Chrome Yayo (ACY) in 2018 when he released a cover of Tangerine Dream’s “Beach Theme” and has since released 28 bodies of work, including the album “Page Me,” featuring the song of the same name. The Music of ACY is essentially the result of “unbridled experimentalism.” Although he takes influences from synthwave, vaporwave, jazz, funk and metal, no two releases are the same. ACY himself describes his work as “far out, exotic music” and a “particular brand of retromancy.”
