Beat the Monday blues with an uplifting, motivating song to get you going through the rest of the day and maybe even the rest of the week.
Today’s music is “Neon Medusa” by The Midnight
The Midnight is a synthwave band consisting of Tyler Lyle, a songwriter from Atlanta, GA and Tim McEwan, a Los Angeles based producer originally born in Denmark.
The band was formed in 2012 after the members met during a co-writing workshop. By taking inspiration from the score for Drive, a movie released the previous year featuring Ryan Gosling as well as the retro synth genre growing around its release, the pair wrote two singles. These singles (titled “WeMoveForward” and “Gloria”) became part of their 2014 debut EP, Days of Thunder.
