Sandor Gavin is an American electronic musician and producer from Detroit. Currently based in New York City, his music journey began in 1997.
Although he started out performing in darkwave/synthpop bands, he has always been drawn to 80s new wave artists such as New Order, Depeche Mode and Human League. As a result, those artists are his strongest songwriting influences.
He likes to “switch up the vibe” with every album. Once released, his next album will be chilled out instrumentals as opposed to the pop driven tracks with guest vocalists he has been releasing during the last year.
“The thread throughout though is no matter which direction I go, it’s always something that could have been written in the 80s.”
