Sapphire Titan is not just a brand or design company.
It is a small but mighty living entity, which is why the rebrand marks the start of referring to themself in the first person on all promotional materials.
The name Sapphire Titan comes from a combination of the founder’s birthday month and her love of Greek mythology.
“Sapphire” is the birthstone for the founder’s birthday month of September and “Titan” is the name given to a group of pre-Olympian Greek deities and their non-Olympic offspring.
The “Titan” in both the previous and current version of the Sapphire Titan logo is called Prom after Prometheus of Ancient Greek legend
Prom was inspired by the legendary Colossus of Rhodes and the Titan of Braavos from Game of Thrones.
