Kimmy Kirkwood established the company in 2010, coinciding with her graduation from Chapman University where she earned a dual degree in Graphic Design and Public Relations & Advertising. Her maiden typeface, Madeleine, was inspired by a logotype she crafted for a hotel located in Positano, Italy. Interestingly, this work was part of her final academic projects at university. This endeavour served as an excellent platform for Kimmy to delve into the complexities of type design and acquire the necessary programming skills to develop a functional font.
Numerous typefaces offered by Kimmy Design encompass the complete Cyrillic and Greek alphabets, in addition to stylistic variations for a selection of individual letters. This provides the end user with the opportunity to attain a genuinely personalised touch for their ultimate creation.
