BMX Escape is a one man synthwave project featuring Ben, a French music producer from Rouen. The project name is inspired by the nostalgia of much loved 80’s movies like E.T. and The Goonies as well as 80’s inspired shows such as Stranger Things, which often depict scenes of teenagers escaping danger on their bikes.
Using nostalgic soundscapes infused with infectiously synth-driven melodies, every song that Ben produces is a soundtrack to a unique motion picture that was never made. Taking inspiration from vintage movie and TV theme tunes, Ben endeavours to recreate vibrant energy from the iconic era he lived through as a child.
