ULTRABOSS is a synthwave project by Austrian/Italian guitarist and producer PJ d’Atri. Founded in autumn 2016, the sound of ULTRABOSS is defined as “shredwave,” a name coined by d’Atri himself to describe a subgenre of synthwave that combines traditional outrun with the heaviness of darksynth and sound of 80’s style heavy metal guitars.
